abstract video about shintoism, made at HKU, direction and film by me and classmate. Concept as a group effort.

This book is handmade by me for a HKU exposition, the concept was for people to feel the kanji (Japanese word) and experience the emotion connected to it. Haiku's are written next to it to give a hint, the haiku missing is a clue as well. I taught myself Japanese as a kid because I wanted to work abroad in Japan, this sadly didn't happen and my Japanese has gotten very rusty since. I've written answers at the end for the curious. This was made on a very tight deadline but I am still proud of the result and reaction from people at the exposition. Every word is made in a material that associates with the feeling it read, they are all handmade or I cut them with a laser myself.

The QR code would be generated in the middle of the video (video before this for essilor) to communicate with the app. Fully drawn and animated by me.
For this store we made an interactive screen, when pressing one of the departments they would be animated and inform what you can find there, illustrated by me.

Masechaba foundation was founded in 2006 by Bert Koopman and Graham Bishop. After 13 years of hard work of everyone evolved we now feed 2000 kids in Bethlehem, South Africa, runs a daycare centre for the most neglected and provide aid by sending containers filled with materials to be used by schools, daycare facilities and the community. The NPO system has stopped paying the welfare workers in South Africa. The whole system collapsed within 2 days after the government decided to stop paying for it. A blow. But with the efforts of everyone involved we are trying to make ends meet and are now fundraising for substantial amounts to keep the day to day welfare care going. We visited the centers in November and now finished a fund-raising video to show who's involved and what we do with your donations. The only thing missing in this story is the fact that the foundation does not take up any money for the organisation itself. All those involved pay everything from their own pocket. including us, creating this video. And out of all the many projects we do, this is the one that we put the most dedication in. Helping out so many people by creating a video is more than rewarding. We've been involved in the Masechaba project since 2012 and only want to do more. www.masechaba.com

Business cards I made for the office, every colleague picked their own stock photo from the company’s own stock site and I designed them in this style to hand out.
